Adrian is a former artist manager for clients including Carter the Unstoppable Sex Machine and Chumbawumba, who has worked in academia for 15 years.

At Falmouth, Adrian was Executive Producer at AMATA for 6 years; setting up the public programme and working with artists including Cara Dillon, Belarus Free Theatre, Theo Clinkard, Forced Entertainment, Bill Drummond, Shobana Jeyasingh Dance, Pussy Riot and Elton John.

Adrian’s unique and international events background informs his online teaching; inspiring him to support students to exceed their own expectations. 

Four of Adrian's career highlights

  • First becoming involved in music events by volunteering to roadie for Fatboy Slim’s mobile disco at the age of 16
  • Managing the main stage headline act at Glastonbury Festival in 1992 
  • Being awarded an annual Falmouth University Staff Excellence Award for Outstanding Innovation in Teaching in 2015 and 2016
  • Writing a chapter for The Routledge Handbook of Festivals (published in 2018).
