BA Photography (Top Up) – who is this course for?

Students will have completed a 2-year foundation degree or an HND level course in related fields and are now looking to receive an internationally recognised undergraduate honours degree from a leading Photography Department. The course seeks learners who are creative, committed to working from others as well as working independently and who wish to produce work that offers something to society, the environment and/or the economy.

What is a Top Up course?

A Top Up degree is the equivalent to the final year of undergraduate study and takes a year to complete. As the name suggests, the course enables you to ‘top up’ an existing qualification – this could be a Foundation or other relevant qualification like a HND as mentioned above.

The Flexibility of the Top Up Photography BA

The Top Up course here at Falmouth offers students the chance to benefit from the prestigious teaching at the Institute of Photography, without having to work around a stringent timetable of classes. This makes the course particularly popular with individuals who might be working full time or have other commitments on the side.
