Teresa Monachino studied Graphic Design at the Chelsea College of Art and Design and went on to work in design leadership roles in Glasgow and London before setting up her own independent studio.

Teresa has been an Associate Lecturer at Edinburgh, Portsmouth and Bath Spa University and recently gave a TED talk in Washington DC concerning the perils of bad communication. As a reviewer and commentator on design and the arts she writes for the design press and the literary periodical ‘The London Magazine’.

She has worked and collaborated with, among others, the artist Sir Eduardo Paolozzi, graphic design giant Alan Fletcher and actor Sir Sean Connery, while her clients have included the BBC, Design Museum, UK Government and Tate Galleries as well as many publishing houses worldwide. Teresa has also researched, written and presented design-based documentaries for BBC Radio 4.
