Paul Farrington (MA, RCA)

For over twenty years Paul ran his own design studio - StudioTonne. Collaborating with Artists, Musicians, Record labels, Publishers, Writers, Makers, TV companies, Universities, Museums, and Galleries.  

He has actively been involved in design education having taught and lectured at the UK’s leading design schools, including the Royal College of Art, Ravensbourne, Central Saint Martins, Brighton University, and Liverpool School of Art, amongst others. Paul established and coordinated a new MA course program in Communication Design at the Escola Superior de Artes, Porto.

Paul has held external examiner roles at Liverpool School of Art and IADT Dublin, lectured internationally at leading institutions and digital media events such as Ars Electronica (Austria), Domus Academy (Milan), Berghs Academy (Stockholm), and Mutek (Montreal).  

His work has been recognised with awards from Creative Review and BAFTA, and profiled by many leading design publishers and magazines: Creative Review, Design Week, Grafik, Blueprint, Die Gestalten Verlag, Thames & Hudson, The Guardian, and Laurence King.
