Screenwriter Graham Mitchell joins Writing for Script & Screen event

Thu 18 Mar 2021

Falmouth Flexible MA Writing for Script & Screen students will come together virtually on Saturday 20th March for a day of industry-insights and collaboration.

As with previous face-to-face events, it's a fabulous opportunity for students to get to know each other better and to start forming writing partnerships that could last long after they've graduated and moved out into the screenwriting industry.

The event will include a series of table reads with MA tutors, Film and TV Director Oisin Mac Coille and TV, Film and Stage Actor Ruth Hayes.

TV screenwriter Graham Mitchell will deliver a keynote speech entitled ‘Writing for Series Television: The Unvarnished Truth’, followed by a Q&A session. Graham has a special interest in thrillers and drama and many prime-time credits, including BBC's Silent Witness.

The day will close with an online escape room, where students can, for one night at least, escape lockdown with tutors, peers and friends.

We're looking forward to a hugely inspiring, productive and fun day for everyone involved.
