Graphic Design students featured in The Science Museum's Digital Lab

Mon 16 May 2022

Falmouth Flexible MA Graphic Design students have been featured in The Science Museum Group Digital Lab.

The Science Museum Group is the world’s leading group of science museums and their Digital Lab explores how to provide groundbreaking audience experiences through new technologies.

Students from the MA Graphic Design were tasked with finding innovative ways for the public to access the digital collection at the Science Museum Group, which contains more than a quarter of a million objects from the fields of science, technology, engineering, medicine, transport and media.

Students from around the world, working under the guidance of John Stack, the Digital Director of the Science Museum Group, had eight weeks to complete their projects.

They produced a range of ground-breaking tools to explore and engage with the collections. The outcomes were varied and surprising, ranging from immersive virtual reality platforms to ambitious built installations and playful animated narratives.

You can see more of the students' work on The Science Museum Group Digital Lab website.
