Online students to come together at Falmouth's Illustration Festival

Wed 26 Jan 2022

Find out about our latest MA Illustration face-to-face event, where online students can meet academics and peers in person and enjoy lectures, workshops and social events.

Online MA Illustration students will come together from the 9th to 11th February for a face-to-face event at the University of Falmouth's Illustration Festival.

The Festival is an opportunity for students on all three of the University's Illustration courses  - BA Illustration, online MA Illustration and MA Authorial Practice, to celebrate illustration in all its forms and attend an exciting programme of lectures, workshops, discussion groups and social activities.

For online students, it's a chance to get to know their fellow students in person, as well as to meet their academic team.

Highlights will include:

  • Sketchbook reviews with a global creative management agency

  • A talk from Teresa Clark on found materials and mixed media practice as a meeting point/liminal space

  • A communal drawing workshop with Shefali Wardell, inspired by devotional practices

  • Small group Riso printing and Screenprinting workshops

It should be an informative and fun few days! For the latest updates from the face-to-face event, follow #FalmouthFlexEvents on Facebook and Twitter.
