Falmouth Flexible MA Illustration students to gather in Falmouth

Tue 1 Dec 2020

The second Falmouth Flexible MA Illustration Face-to-Face event will take place at Falmouth University from 1-3 July 2019.

The event will centre around a practical Riso print workshop where students will create their own designs and include talks by local practitioners on self-publishing and independent practice.

The group will also be teaming up with the campus-based Illustration MA for the first annual Research Symposium.

Module Leader Barnaby Lickens-Richards and Online Tutor Carlos Garde-Martin will be on hand to speak with students throughout the event.

Guest speakers will include:

John Dunbar Kilburn, illustrator and academic.

Steve Braund from Atlantic Press

Emily Juniper, bookbinder and founder of Juniper Bespoke.

Hugh Frost, editor at Mould Map.

Rebecca Cobb, children picture book illustrator.

The event will begin with a Campus Tour and Library induction.

It should be a fantastic opportunity for students to broaden their horizons as well as network with peers and practitioners in the illustration field.

Taught online, the Falmouth Flexible MA Illustration allows you to connect, engage and network with your peers on a global level, offering a learning experience that reflects trends within contemporary professional practice today.
