Tuition Fees and Payments

At Falmouth, we know the sacrifices our students make when they invest in their study. That is why we make every effort to provide you with a flexible payment plan to assist you in managing your tuition fee payment.

For all courses, a non-refundable acceptance fee of £200 is required to secure your place. The acceptance fee must be received within two weeks of the date on your offer letter.


MA

Total fees for all Master’s Courses beginning in the 2018/19 academic year are £9,500, including the acceptance fee.

There are two ways for you to pay your tuition fees:

  • In full, with a discount of £750
  • In six instalments spread over two years

To pay in full, you should transfer the funds no later than three weeks before your course begins.

To pay by instalment, your first payment is due no later than three weeks before your course begins. The dates for subsequent instalments will depend on when you start your course.

For those students who have confirmed funding from Student Finance in the UK (SF), you should send us your Postgraduate Loan Summary letter as soon as your loan is approved by SF and no later than two weeks before the start of your course. This will enable us to defer your payment until you receive your first SF instalment, at which point you will have two weeks to transfer the funds to us.

Once your place is secured, we guarantee your tuition fees will remain at the same level as long as you complete the course within the recommended time of 24 months. If you defer your studies beyond the recommended time, you may be liable for additional fees.

PG Dip

Total fees for PGDip courses beginning in the 2018/19 academic year are £6,000, including the acceptance fee.

There are two ways for you to pay your tuition fees:

  • In full, with a discount of £500
  • In four instalments spread over 16 months

To pay in full, you should transfer the funds no later than three weeks before your course begins.

To pay by instalment, your first payment is due no later than three weeks before your course begins. The dates for subsequent instalments will depend on when you start your course.

Once your place is secured, we guarantee your tuition fees will remain at the same level as long as you complete the course within the recommended time of 16 months. If you defer your studies beyond the recommended time, you may be liable for additional fees.

Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education (PGCHE)

Total fees for the PGCHE course beginning in the 2018/19 academic year are £2,950, including the acceptance fee.

There are two ways for you to pay your tuition fees:

  • In full, with a discount of £100
  • In two instalments spread over eight months

To pay in full, you should transfer the funds no later than three weeks before your course begins.

To pay by instalment, your first payment is due no later than three weeks before your course begins. The dates for subsequent instalments will depend on when you start your course.

BA (Hons) Photography (Top-Up)

Total fees for the BA (Top-up) course beginning in the 2018/19 academic year are £6,200, including the acceptance fee.

There are two ways for you to pay your tuition fees:
 
  • In full, with a discount of £500
  • In three instalments spread over one year

To pay in full, you should transfer the funds no later than three weeks before your course begins.

To pay by instalment, your first payment is due no later than three weeks before your course begins. The dates for subsequent instalments will depend on when you start your course.

Once your place is secured, we guarantee your tuition fees will remain at the same level as long as you complete the course within the recommended time of twelve months. If you defer your studies beyond the recommended time, you may be liable for additional fees.

When to Pay

A payment plan will be emailed to you shortly after we receive your acceptance fee. The table below provides examples of payment options, depending on your course. It does not include possible bursaries or any discounts you may be entitled to.

If a bursary or discount has been approved the amount will be deducted from your last instalment.

How to pay

Once you have received your offer letter, there are several ways for you to pay your fees:

  • Via WorldPay (in Pounds Sterling)
  • Via Flywire (in local currency or Pounds Sterling)
  • By phone using credit or debit card.

Flywire

A streamlined international payment process that gives you the option to pay in your own currency (most currencies available) at exchange rates lower than international banks.

Visit www.flywire.com/pay/falmouthflexible and follow the instructions on the website. You will need your student number from your offer letter.

WorldPay

To arrange a payment, send an email to ff-fees@falmouth.ac.uk. We will send you an email with a secure link to pay via WorldPay using your credit or debit card.

Credit or Debit Card (by phone)

Call us on +44 (0)1223 447717 to make a payment.

You will need your:

  • Card number
  • Expiry date
  • 3 digit security code (from the signature strip on the back of the card)

Fees paid by this method will be charged in British pounds sterling.

A 2% fee is charged for payment by credit card and we do not accept American Express.
