This event will be a unique opportunity for Falmouth Flexible MA Graphic Design students to immerse themselves in Northern Europe’s biggest design event: Dutch Design Week (DDW). More than 2,600 designers will have their work and concepts showcased in various venues dotted across the Dutch city of Eindhoven.
The agenda isn’t set in stone yet, but those joining us will get to meet like-minded students, attend exclusive talks, debates and seminars, and go to networking events. If there is enough time on the trip, attendees will also be able to visit some of Amsterdam’s galleries and studios. This vibrant, culture-rich excursion will be led by MA Graphic Design course leader Dan Brackenbury, but current students in all subjects are invited to join.
"This is one of the largest design events in Europe and takes place throughout several venues in the city of Eindhoven in the Netherlands. The festival itself includes events such as networking opportunities, exhibitions, seminars, debates and lectures. It's a great opportunity for us to get together and chat in person, exchange ideas, get inspired and to collectively immerse ourselves in the subject of design!"
At Falmouth Flexible, we want to make sure that online course students can feel a similar sense of community as those studying on campus. We periodically organise face-to-face events like the one described above, so you can experience the perks of meeting like-minded students while maintaining the flexibility of online study.
