Online Tutor

An experienced illustrator, writer and educator, Kevin has created editorial illustrations, comics, books, animation and music as a practising illustrator and writer for over ten years. He has also designed story games and run workshops with museums, galleries and charities.  

Kevin studied literature and creative writing in Montreal and visual communication at Goldsmiths College, London, where he worked as a graphics tutor in the fine art department for thirteen years. 

Four of Kevin's career highlights

  • Being the illustrator of Alastair Humphreys' Great Adventurers (Big Picture Press), which won the Edward Stanford Children's Travel Book of the Year Award and the Teach Primary Book Award for non-fiction  

  • Having his picture book work selected for the Illustrators Exhibition at the Bologna Children's Book Fair

  • Writing, illustrating, singing for, crowdfunding and co-publishing a musical storybook The Fur Trap in collaboration with Catapulte Records (France)

  • On an artist residency with a Finnish photographer in Cushendall, N. Ireland, he made midnight animations in a haunted guard tower and wrestled a storyteller’s goat.
