MA Comedy Writing's Simon Nicholls to produce new BBC show

Tue 1 Dec 2020

Simon Nicholls, Module Leader for Falmouth Flexible's MA Comedy Writing, will produce a new nature-based comedy for BBC Radio 4, called 'Nature Table'.

The show has been picked up for six episodes and will be fronted by comedian Sue Perkins.

Filmed at London Zoo, the production will feature of a mix of wildlife experts and comedians chatting about natural history objects.

Speaking about the new show, Simon told comedy guide Chortle: ‘I'm an enthusiastic nerd on wildlife - I'm a keen whale and bird watcher. I want to make something that's properly funny and informative at the same time - mixing wildlife experts with comics, while also hearing related funny anecdotes from the studio audience.’

You can listen to Nature Table on Monday 10 February at 6.30pm on BBC Radio 4.
