As experienced educators and professionals in the creative industries, the expert instructors of Falmouth’s flexible masters programmes know the importance of choosing the best course of study to suit your individual needs. Creative professionals with different backgrounds all have different expectations of what further education will bring, and matching the right people to the right course is crucial to ensuring our students get the most from their time with us.

To help ensure that the course you’re applying for is right for you, Falmouth asks all online masters degree programme applicants to submit a personal statement as part of their application. This document can be vital in giving the admissions department a better idea of your experience, personality, and motivations, and what you hope to achieve by studying with us.

Since not all universities have this requirement, it can sometimes be difficult for applicants to know where to start. Luckily, we’ve prepared these handy guidelines to give you a better idea of what is expected and help ensure your application is successful.

Read on to find out everything you need to know to write your personal statement and take your first step towards a prestigious masters qualification today.
